Baby Donny came to see me in the studio at 5.5 weeks old. He was little older than a typical newborn I photograph (which is usually somewhere between 5 and 12 days old) but despite all my fears that he might not sleep as much, the session went really well. He did stay awake for some time but was still pretty happy and content. And I got a chance to take a couple of awake shots through out the session, which is not always the easiest thing to do, but Donny totally nailed them all!

I always encourage clients that if they have any special or meaningful items for the baby to bring them with you to the session. Donny’s mommy brought with her big plush elephant and knitted booties with cute little hat with bunny ears. And I think these pictures are my favorite from the bunch! Check them out for yourself.
